● Begin by carefully reading through the School Choice Guide to understand the programs available, eligibility criteria, and application process.
2. Submit Your Application Online
● Complete your application online at https://applyclayton.schoolmint.com. Magnet Applications Open November 1 - December 1, 2025 and Late Application Open February 1 - March 1, 2026

3. Prepare for Your Audition:
- Audition Criteria: a link to the audition criteria can be found on the website on the Fine Arts Department page.
● If your application meets the eligibility requirements, you will be invited to audition for the program(s) you listed in your application. Prepare thoroughly for the audition.
4. Participate in the Computer-generated Lottery
● If you pass the audition, your application will be entered into a computer-generated lottery.
● Watch your email and SchoolMint messages in March for updates and instructions on viewing the live lottery results.
