These are the announcements for the week of March 30th.
8th Grade Dance Senior Recital
On Monday, March 30th the 8th grade chorus, guitar, and piano students will be performing a showcase in the Donna Jackson Black Box at 10am.
CCPS Track Championships (Running Prelims)
On Monday, March 30th our track team will be participating in the running prelims at Twelve Oaks Stadium starting at 5:30pm.
CCPS Track Championships (Field Events)
On Tuesday, March 31st our track team will be participating in the field events at Twelve Oaks Stadium starting at 5:30pm.
8th Grade Senior Showcase
On Tuesday, March 31st the 8th grade theatre showcase at 10am and dance recital at 6pm will be in the Donna Jackson Black Box.
Greece Learning Journey
On Wednesday, April 1st through Friday, April 10th select students, parents, and teachers will be participating in the annual Greece Learning Journey.
CCPS Track Championships (Running Finals)
On Wednesday, April 1st our track team will be participating in the running finals at Twelve Oaks Stadium starting at 5:30pm.
8th Grade Orchestra Senior
On Wednesday, April 1st the 8th grade orchestra showcase will be in the Donna Jackson Black Box 10am.
Swim Meet
On Thursday, April 2nd there will be a swim meet of the season at Steve Lundquist Aquatic Center starting at 5:30pm. Please come out to support the swim team.
Career Day
On Friday, April 3rd we will have our annual Career Day with a variety of professionals and business owners will speak to students about different career paths from 9-11am
8th Grade Activities:
Because of recent updates to the GMAS testing schedule and district transportation cut-off dates, we are required to make adjustments to our 8th Grade Spirit Week Activities schedule. Unfortunately, this shift has resulted in increased costs logistically (i.e. vendor change fees and the need for charter bus transportation). As a result, we must raise the price slightly to accommodate these unexpected changes while still ensuring a fun and successful Spirit Week experience for everyone. The change in cost will now be $165.00 instead of $140.00 for Spirit Week. The price change is now reflected in Cash Online for this. Because of this change, due dates are also changing. The 8th grade dance (formal) deadline is March 30th, Gradventure deadline is March 30th, Spirit Week deadline is April 30th.
Saturday Trailblazers Academy (8th Grade Only)
8th Grade Parents,
We will be offering a “Saturday Trailblazers” Academy, to eighth grade scholars. The last session will take place at M.D. Roberts School of the Arts on the following Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
*April 18th
Transportation and meals will not be provided. Parents/Guardians must transport students to and from our campus. Drop off time is no earlier than 8:45 a.m. and student pick up begins at 11:45 a.m.
Spring Break!
April 6 - April 10th No School in observance of Spring Break
