Theater

Our Theatre Department is on a dramatic mission to change the world for the better by showcasing the artistic talents of our scholars.  Scholars’ individual skills and interests are embraced and teaching artists encourage scholars to explore concepts related to character, language, & plot in dramatic presentations.  Scholars receive rigorous training in a progressive program of training in public speaking, improvisation, movement, speech, playwriting, & acting techniques. Students involved in technical theater gain hands-on knowledge and skills in set design, lighting design, costuming, stage makeup, sound design, stage house management and much more.  Our Technical Theater students build their skills in the scene shop as they are immersed in all elements of technical theatre with daily hands-on experiences.
